First time blogging after i came back from UK. First time blogging under this new layout. I've been MIA for long cuz I felt like shutting down this blog but not anymore. This will be the best place for me to spill my thoughts/feelings once in a blue moon and I can also access to my friends' blogs easily :)

I've been back for a month now. All i wanna say is MALAYSIA IS TOO WARM. How did I manage to grow up here the past 20 years?

4.5 months of summer break.

3 weeks spent in Glasgow. 1 week spent in Europe. 8 weeks spent in Llandrindod. In between visited Bristol and Bath. And the last 7 weeks still spending in Malaysia :)

Lazing around at home. Teaching Math Monkey in the evening. Enjoying mealsSsssss & getting fat. Catching up with friends & family. Visited Singapore. Next highlight would be Hatyai! :)

I had a dream last night. I was back in school as a prefect and I no longer know how to carry out my prefect duties. Lol. I dunno how to read the duty roster. I dunno how to manage the students during assembly. Worse still, i dunno anybody there! No even a single one in my form. Everyone looked so different! I couldn't recognize my juniors. Hahaha.. of course right. I mean, after 4 years.

Up to today, i still dream about my school occasionally. WMS has made a huge impact on my life. The education, all the friends i've made and the sweet and bitter memories. I never regretted for having to continue my upper secondary there as I shifted to KK before my PMR. The 35-40 mins SINGLE journey every day were all worth it! I love my school. I miss my school. More like the people there! :')

I'm being sooo random here. The weather is no good in Wales. It's summer now but it feels like.. autumn? To me, spring never came. It was just less colder than winter, just like autumn. So basically, I only experienced autumn, winter, 'autumn' and 'still autumn'. That's it. I miss the weather in Amsterdam. And i'm not looking forward to get roasted in Malaysia :p

For those who are stalking me right now and dunno what i'm up to, I'm at Wales doing my summer placement. 8 weeks at Llandrindod Wells to be precise. And 2 weeks has gone by! :) My job is to be at the counter and sell OTC medicines, to be at the till and collect money, to be at the dispensary and dispense medicines, to be at the desk to collect prescription/hand out medicines to patients. So far, that was all i've done. I can say, I find everything that i've learnt in year 3 makes sense after working these two weeks. Pharmacy practice 3 is indeed a crucial paper! I'm so glad that i know most of the OTC medicines by heart and i know how to carry out proper dispensing though i make some minor errors sometimes. I ~~will try~~ have to be more careful next time.

I have CPD (reports) to write each week, a project (4 pages long essay) to be done by week 5, four e-tests to do every two weeks and also a calculation test by week 5. So, it's not just working. I do and will learn many from this programme i believe. It's be a wonderful experience and in my opinion, the pay is good for a student ;) It feels so good to see pound increasing in my bank account every week. Though i'll be so ripped off after paying my accommodation fees. I do have some savings after paying the rental pay and monthly expenses :D

My pharmacist in store is always so busy and tensed up. She gotta clinically check all the dispensed medicines to ensure that no dispensing errors occurred and make sure that correct doses are prescribed just in case doctors/dentists give the wrong dose, give more professional advice when someone comes in and asks for OTC medicines, do medical use review for patients etc. She has no rest time at all, only 10 mins lunch break. Part of the reason i think was because the other pharmacist is on holiday until next week. I see the stress and i feel the stress. I see the future me. Omg.

Someone asked me why did i choose to do Pharmacy. To be honest, I cannot produce a certain answer cuz i'm also unsure myself. Why? Why the trouble of memorizing all the drug names? Why the trouble of studying pharmacology? Trust me, don't advise your friends/family to study Pharmacy unless they are geniuses. And one drawback about Pharmacy is that everywhere i go it's always dominated by females. Oh gosh. Hmmm.

All in all, we covered everything in Brussels, Brugge and Amsterdam (except Keukenhof Garden). Amsterdam trip is never complete without weeds and live sex show. Ahem. Belgium is never complete either without chocolates, waffles and fries.

Compared with Europe, the UK is nothing. Compared with the UK, Malaysia is even nothing. I think the only nice places to visit are just Pulau Redang and Sabah.

Nevertheless, i STILL want to go home! I wanna see my family and how my little cousins have turned into! :) :) AND i miss Malaysia FOOD and fruits so much! You name them, i want them!! Be it Indian, Malay, Chinese or even my mom's home cooked food!

They will all come soon! :D Tata!

A month ago since the last update. Blogging isn't my thing anymore. I only log onto blogger.com when i have nothing else to view on the www. Just like now. I finished my year 3 exams 11 days ago. I feel so grateful and thankful to have got exempted from PP3 dispensing exam! Phew~ Though our last written paper was so terrifying horrible! Fingers crossed.

Been going to the city for no apparent reason (ended up shopping. teehee). Shooting spring photographs failed cause weather in Glasgow is being very b*tchy. Never failed to rain every single day. Must be the rain that caused my cold. Soar throat and nose block (which i hate most). When we were stressing for exams, there were heaps of sunshine and people making plenty of DISTURBING noises outside our windows, having picnics, screaming, laughing etc. They even brought their dogs! -.-"

I've started packing my stuff cause we'll be moving out from this unit after we return from our trip. Yes, I'm going travelling again! :) I feel awfully bad when i check my bank statement. Gosh, I've been spending money unconsciously. Note the word, unconsciously. It hit me that money doesn't grow on trees. Not forgetting, been checking out on places to visit in Belgium and Amsterdam. Hope everything turns out well. Went through the NES application process too. I don't have bank statements in paper form. Boo. And it requires 7-10 days for them to send it to my house. Like wth?

Anyway, just dropping by to pen down something. Going out soon to change somo euros.

I think i have the shortest Easter break ever - 2 weeks!

I think my final exams starts the earliest too! - 9th-11th May as seen above!

I MIGHT get exempted from sitting PP3 if i score 70% for the upcoming exemption exam.

Chances are 50% 50%. =/

Just done with an open book test this afternoon. Hmmm, neutral.

Speed reading and book flipping all the way.

2 more tests, 1 assignment and 1 lab report before Easter break.

AFTER Easter break, another 2 class tests, 1 presentation and one exemption exam followed by finals.

Not forgetting a one-day hospital attachment.

CAN YOU FEEL ME?!

Now i see why people mention that year 3 is the busiest.

p/s: my finals is supposed to be a week LATER. made me worried for i've bought train ticket to go on Easter holiday! :(

On the brighter note, my summer holiday will last for 4.5 months if my last day of exam is on 11th May! :)

Winter approaching Spring

27.11.10. 3+ months ago!

And this was on the very next morning.

Sigh. I missed out winter scenery photoshooting last year. It only snowed heavily countable times. Probably only around 3 times. The second time was during my study break, busy mugginggg :( And the last time i was in London. Anymore? Not that i can recall. I wanted thick snow so that everywhere would look beautifully white in pics. Winter came way early, but it's not leaving!!

Anyways, my dear friend Amy shot some pre-spring photos for me a week ago. It's been a while since i last exposed so much. That day was around 8°C with sunshine but still, i had goosebumps towards the end. Actually my tolerance to cold has improved so much. I remember i used to complain sooo much about how cold the air-con was in LT2 and LT3 back in IMU. I guess when i return to Malaysia, Genting is nothing to me! :p

More on my facebook. The whole theme was about blue blue and blueee! :) Baby blue to be exact. Maybe round 2? I've more blue stuffs to showww off! Lol.

Studies are getting more depressing. PP2, FMT2, BP4, PP3, DD3! 3 class tests coming up very soon and i have a very short Easter break compared to my other friends in other unis. Oh well, on the brighter side, at least my semester ends mid May! :) Hopefully a trip to a Europe country or two before i commence my summer placement! :) Guess what?! I'm gonna spend 5 days 4 nights with my lovely high school mates again this coming Easter. Oh how much i love them! :)

I've got my ticket home! 2nd of Sept. I've used up plenty of brain cells thinking of whether to go back right after my two months placement or stay for a little while more. In case i screw up my exam and i have to resit? *touchwood. And whether to go for an interview. And whether to go for some Europe tour. And whether etc etc. Weighing the pros and cons of staying back. So now decision made, i don't wanna crack my head anymore. But i might bring forward my flight to join my family for a trip if everything goes right! :)

It's March!! Crazy fast. Just few days ago i thought there was a 29th for Feb this year. How stupid can i get?! As usual, i don't update this blog as i did when i first maintain it. Lazy buggg in me. I rather spend time drama-ing and facebook-ing than doing anything else. Wait, and running on the treadmill. Haha.. All these activities will be halted soon enough as class tests are coming up! Boo.

Consider small number for an extended family, with 2 cousins missing.

The picture was taken on the night i left Malaysia. My grandma insisted celebrating my 21st (Chinese) birthday in advance last Sept. I miss all of them! Especially the kiddies!

Tomorrow's CNY eve. This year's reunion lunch will be at my house. And i'm gonna wake up early tomorrow to skype with them. I can't taste my mom's and aunts' cooking this year! I'm sure the evil them are gonna lure me with food. I suddenly remember that i have last year's photos with me. Nah it's okay! I'll also enjoy my first CNY away from home :)

I just finished watching the final of 超级星光大道 7! Really impressive! Though i never follow the whole season at all. I stopped watching after the 3rd season. Lol. Hmmm.. Schedule full for the next 4 days :) and the following weekend. I'll be away from Glasgow again. Enjoy while i can in the UK. Heheheh.

Newcastle Trip [27-31 Dec 10]

Yup, so right after London, i caught the flight back to Glasgow. And shopped a while at the city centre before i got ready to board the train to Newcastle! :D Was damn lethargic. Haven't had enough rest + a huge blister on my toe [which i got HB to burst it for me :p]

I shall skip all the food pics to prevent my readers from drooling :p

1st day

Had dinner @ St. Sushi where i had to sit so straight to eat.
Cause i can't hunch. Lol.

Oh, i had my 1st time experience missing a train in UK during interchange at Edinburgh. Arrival trains are never on time but departure trains are always on time. I was smart enough to stay calm and asked around. And fortunate to not have to pay/buy extra ticket :)

2nd day

Shopped at the city centre while waiting for HL, HB and his housemate to arrive.

5th day

7+am, boarded the train back to Glasgow. And it was NYE. I was so zombified.

From the bottom of my heart, i didn't regret making the decision to join this trip despite the EOS exam. I guess it didn't affect my revision because i believe time management is all i needed. Some of the incidents that happened during the trip are still fresh in my mind. I love being around them, Wesleyans ftw! Looking forward to our next meet! ;)

1st day of sem 6 today! Kept yawning throughout lectures. Time flies.

Haven't had enough rest after exam and we're now starting a new semester!

I have so much to do. Seems like forever busy.

Gym plan. I've stopped going to the gym for a month. That's very bad!

Catch up with my TVB dramas. So behind time now. I'm just planning to watch a few. MUST.

Read lecture notes a day before lecture. (it'll only work for the 1st few weeks :p)

And also.. update this blog. *cough cough* (i'll abandon it again very soon)

Actually the sales lasts for a week or so, so you don't really have to join the sardine crowd to shop unless you're afraid that the items you wish to buy will run out of stock.

Valuable lessons i learnt from the trip, do not book early flights!! Do not go London during Christmas. Really pain in the ass spending money on taxi and buses and tube.

Sorry again for abandoning this blog. Last update was a month ago!

So for the last month, events that took place were:-
1) London trip from 24th-27th.
2) Newcastle trip from 27th-31st.
3) I slept in for New Year 2012. This is so not me. Every year i would sit down by the TV and watch NY programme. This year was an exception cause i just needed to rejuvenate myself. Deprived of sleep for the past 1 week. Trips were awesome!
4) So on NY Day, i started hardcore revision. 10 days to cover 3 subjects. Crazeee. But i guess i'm awesome. Lol. Time management is very important ;) Then 4 days to cover this 1 subject that i'm gonna have tomorrow.
5) Edinburgh after tomorrow! :)

My mom quotes "I'd rather you go for classes everyday. Once you start having holidays, you'll fly everywhere." Lol. True true. This is me. Be it here or Malaysia :D

I think i spend more time talking to the laptop screen than to real human. This is very unhealthy. Haha.

Anyway, i dunno what brought me here typing a new post now. Just a little update, it started snowing last Sat. 12am heavy snow to be exact cause we stayed up and waited for it. Really jakuns. Lol. Snapped some pics under the shower snow and more wintery photos the next morning. Too bad i didn't manage to capture scenery photos yet. As i planned to do it tomorrow, weather forecast foresees no snow for the rest of the week. Boo. Nevermind! It's just beginning of winter. More chances there'll be.

The coldest night time temperature i've experienced so far was -10°C, day time being -3°C. Actually it's not cold UNTIL the wind blows!

I've sat for 2 uni tests up to today. 3 more to go in the next 2 weeks. Hectic and busy! Winter break after that!! :D Whee~ London and Newcastle trips back to back! :) I'm so hoping that my flight won't be cancelled. Heard the snow is really bad at the east that prevented some lecturers of mine from getting to uni on time in the morning. Hence, a few classes were cancelled these few days. Happy or no? I'm so glad that i don't have to drive over here. Haha.

My life here revolves around cooking, eating, going for classes, going online, gym-ing (one a week. lol), studying and shopping. Oh and travelling. But no TV! :( As in the usual programmes i used to watch back home.

I received an offer to do Summer Placement for Boots Pharmacy next June for 8 weeks.

It should be a YAY but... see this.

That means i gotta search for a place to stay for that duration.

I googled map it and i wasn't impressive of that place.

There aren't any nearby places of attraction to visit?

Nearby convenient stores? Heard that place's not kinda safe?

I'm a little paranoid. Haha.

It's roughly 2 hours away from Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham though.

Anyhow, i've accepted that offer.

I'm now waiting for my Lloydspharmacy interview results.

Hopefully i'll get a positive response and it's somewhere near CITY.

Haha. Greedy much.

Some say i'm very lucky to get picked for both the applications. :D

Hmmm.. i guess i'll still go for the Boots placement if i get rejected by Llyods.

$$$.. Lol. I can reward myself an iPhone 4 on my own expenses.

IF only IF my allergy symptoms don't go off, my mom suggested getting Chinese medicines for me. This is always the best for me since young. Haha so contradicting. Traditional medicine vs conventional medicine. I trust TCM yet i study Pharmacy.

I know i haven't been updating for almost a month. Wow.

Broke record. Got a slight "reminder" from my BBF at the chatbox over there <--

Alright. Since i'm quick done revising my DD II notes, i shall update my ~~abandoned~~ bluish blog! :D

My past one month has been filled with my very own 20th birthday little bash, Loch Lomond visit, allergies (i'll come to that later), Summer Placement interview, Bonfire Night, more birthday celebrations, home-cooked food, muffins from Julia the baker :D and i shall not forget to mention this, the ~~cool and enjoyable~~ weather!

Regarding the Summer Placement interview, i got shortlisted by Llyodspharmacy for an interview at Scunthrope, an hour train journey away from Sheffield. When i first received the email, i had the thought of not attending it. I wasn't that keen to get a Summer Placement. I wanna go home during Summer! Yet again, it was a neutral feeling. Cause i'll have a little more advantage than the rest if i were to do a placement here next year. When i spoke to my parents about this, they asked me to give it a try! I was thinking, "Ahh, i'm so lazy." Cause we needed to prepare a 10 mins presentation for that 45 mins interview session. Uni work had started to pill up that time. And another reason was because i never liked to attend interviews. Who does? Lol.

Checked out the train ticket to Sheffield. Cost me a bomb! Roughly £59 for a return journey. Discussed with Peter zai for quite a few times. Was assisted on the process of booking tickets. Yes, i asked a lot of questions! Thanks for bearing with me. Haha. My housemate, Wai Ling was invited to the interview too. Same interview venue. So we travelled down together and stayed overnight at Hoong Leong's (TS & Robin's) place. I was in Sheffield for less than 12 hours. Lol. I'll make another proper trip there next year! :) Thanks for the hospitality and the comfy bed! Interview was alright. I did my best. And i don't put much expectation on it. After all, i think they're gonna pick 100 out of 500 candidates i heard? So competitive. Though i mentioned that i'm not eager to get a placement, i applied for a few pharmacies. Lol. Denial much.

Hmm.. I shall elaborate more on my allergies. I've seen the doctor two times! And was diagnosed two different diseases for both times. First was scabies. It's contagious skin infection caused by unvisualized parasite. This is transmitted through objects, beddings or direct skin-to-skin contact. Man, i have no idea how i contracted this but yeah. I was given a dermal cream to apply overnight all over the body and to wash off the very next morning including changing the bed sheet. So thankful, i was cured!

SECOND TIME, rashes on my thighs. Argh. However different symptoms, it wasn't on the joints of my fingers and elbows and ankles and intense itching at night. It was like those on and off itching throughout the day. At first, i thought it was the dry weather that causes the rashes but no, it got worse. It spread and started to form patches. Made appointment with the doctor and was diagnosed as dermatitis aka allergy reaction to certain allergen. Okay i seriously have no idea to WHICH allergen cause i stopped consuming seafood, eggs, chicken and nuts. Anyway, as long as the medicine is effective, i can't be bothered much. I can't figure out anymore. Not bed bugs. Not washing powder. Not food. Can't be dust cause i clean and vacuum my room every week! AS I THOUGHT i can pronounce myself to be allergic-free, just recently i spotted redness of skin and on and off itching at another part of my thighs. GOD, never ending. I think i'm gonna meet the doctor again.

I woke up early on purpose this morning to get them back BUT..

our flat door couldn't be opened. We're locked inside.

A guy from the village office came to stop the door with a stone for the mean time.

Hopefully it'll get fixed asap.

I signed up for gym yesterday.

I must make sure i go there at least once a week to make my money worth :p

Despite all the fun, there's something bothering me right now! ALLERGY! I have sensitive skin. I HATE IT. I USED TO be allergic to washing powder. Seafood. Chicken. But I've never had this problem for few years already. Guess it's the different environment here. I gotta find out what i'm really allergic to. But it's quite impossible, am i right? Whether the bed bugs or the food i consume? I've even changed my bed sheet and washing powder. I visited the pharmacy and got a cream to apply. Hopefully the itchiness will go off by one week. If not, i have to visit the doctor :( I MISS TABIB CINA. Now that allergy comes back, i have to stop eating chicken. The meat source left that i can eat are fish and pork. And we hardly can get fish here. I'm gonna survive on pork only. No eggs. NO NUTS. Vege and pork and fruits and milk? Thank God i love vege. Whenever i feel uneasy whether physically or mentally, i think of home! Do you call this home sick??

Greetings from Scotland! I reached here safely on Sat!

Only get to come online yesterday! Cause i brought the wrong LAN cable over.

AND I FORGOT TO BRING MY HP CHARGER. Awesome.

Thank goodness Chiew Vien who came later than us was kind enough to bring them for me! :D

Glasgow is a beautiful city! Weather is cool so far. Kind love it! :)

WALKING IS AN ISSUE HERE. Everywhere is by feet.

Worse is when you go groceries shopping and you have to carry everything back by yourselves!

But i think i'm kinda used to it already. Walking is a form of exercise since we don't sweat much here.

The only thing i don't like about this place is..

THOSE LIFELESS SCOTTISH WHO LIKE TO DRINK AND MAKE NOISES OUTSIDE OUR HOSTELS AT NIGHT.

This week is orientation week. Registration with the uni, library, doctor, bank.

On my third day here, i've already gone clothes hunting!

Primark is like "pasar malam" here. LOL.

Now all i need to do is to get a permanent UK number!

i-City

Few weeks back, my family and i visited i-City which is located at Shah Alam. It's situated near my parents' shop at Setia Alam. :) I followed them to shop in the morning and what i usually do there is to bond with my laptop. Uber boring. That's why i don't often go there. :D

i-City - City of Digital Lights. I wanted to pay a visit cause i intended to capture some nice photos. :) We went there twice as it rained the first time.

Some of the pictures have water droplets mark due to the rain, these are the few that 'survived'.

The second visit was on my brother's birthday. My uncle and family came up for the weekend. As usual, the cousins hanged out. We went karaoke on a Sunday morning! :D Not too bad, there was buffet and i dug out a voucher, so we got one head free. :) I'm a Red Box regular visitor, don't pray pray. Hahahahahah!

I so love his slang!!

We spent another two hours watching Phua Chua Kang the Movie! Not very hilarious as expected, the series is more catchy.

College Gathering Part 1

Before that, yes i've submitted my Visa on Monday! Hopefully it'll get approved and i can fly on the designated date! :) The waiting procedure at the VFS was terrible!! I spent totally 9 hours there! WAIT WAIT WAIT was all we did! First station, they went through and checked our documents, second station to submit and we weren't allow any electronics there, so bored! Third station was to get our biometrics, fingerprints and photograph. How can they have only one person working?! Well, there were three but the other two kept going in and out, work or no work makes no difference right? Malaysia Boleh, really! Walk-in customers had to wait this long. Sigh. I actually had an appointment on Thurs but i thought it would be late to submit then cause they said we need to wait at least 14 days, more or less. Fingers crossed!

I watched this like finally! Some parts are lame and funny. The songs are incredibly awesome! Story line was fine. <你不知道的事> is superb!! He's promoting his new album songs in his movie. I started to play his new album when i came home that day. Please don't tell me i'm gonna get addicted to them! Lol. I see people comparing Lee Hom's movie with Jay Chou's Secret, i can't voice out my view cause i've not watched Secret. People who know me would know, i'm never a fan of his, not even once. Sorry to his fans, no offence. :)

Met up with the future doctors last Thursday. :) Simple dinner, typical. I never knew Sunway Pyramid has Sushi Zanmai until that day. Omg. It's at the corner of Parkson.

Part 6 (18/08)

Pampered myself with unnecessary shopping at Sg. Wang. :D Bought a white sling bag, a white pair of flats with zippers (been searching for a very long time!). Yes, everything white! :) Oh, not forgetting that pair of dress which i can't fit in. :( Sad. Planning to sell it off. Our initial plan was to go for "Love in Disguise", lunch and shopping. Time constraint, we decided to sacrifice the movie for more shopping! :D We dined at T-bowl - i love the concept of the restaurant! :) My second time.

Anyway, i was supposed to be at GENTING HIGHLANDS RIGHT NOW! My goodness, all because of the sudden last minute arrangement with Mr. Hira who came to check our visa documents this afternoon. Actually, i've decided to skip the meeting this afternoon and only meet him next Monday but i kept getting people telling me that it will be too late to submit in Sept and visa processing needs at least 2 weeks! How on Earth are we gonna get it in time? Alright, so i don't wanna take the risk. Visa comes first than anything now. It's my golden ticket for my flight!

Part 7 (27/08)

Kok Mun was back from India few days ago and he invited us to his last house party. The great plan was to have fun at his house, stay over for the night and head up to Genting the next morning (which is today). But like i mentioned earlier, i had no choice but to ffk them.

I realized that i always always (90%) don't collect my movie ticket. Will i get blacklisted? Well not like i want to. Sometimes i get better seats when i queue up. :) Watched "The Last Airbender" last Sat. And OMG, i'm so in love with zipper shoes (any form)! I'm very random i know! :D I can only window shop. I have to keep in mind to just spend wisely. Not like i can bring all over to UK next time.

Anyway, tomorrow is family day! More activities awaiting me even though i can't make it to the trip. Good night everyone! I feel like dozing off to sleep. So super sleepy and tired! Many things to settle and prepare. Bye!

Results release date was brought forward to 24th, which was two days ago!
I got a mild heart attack when i first heard the news!
I just woke up from a 16 hours sleep cause i wasn't feeling well the day before!
It wasn't so bad after all. It was brought forward 10 days for us to prepare our visa application.
Thank goodness! :) I survived Semester 4!
Pharmacy Practice 1 IN YOUR FACE! You made me emo for weeks!!
My hard work is paid off! Yay! :D

You wouldn't wanna know how nervous i was when i went to collect my results!
I couldn't feel my legs! My mom waited for me in the car.
Worse still, the release time kept postponing from 4pm to 5pm to 5.30pm to 6pm!!
The awaiting moment was damn torturing!
Luckily i made the right choice to collect it instead of waiting for email.
They only sent us an email the next day 10am!
My heart would've dropped out if i were to wait another day!
Thank you dad, mom and all my friends who had faith in me when i was very uncertain of myself!
Thank you for being there by my side when i need you! :)

On Wed night, i dragged my mom to watch "The Jade and The Pearl" with me! :D Reason: None of my friends is free to watch with me (i think) or either they've watched it! I guess she knew i wasn't feeling good after exam so she agreed to accompany me. As it was a last minute decision, we bought the second row seat. Neck torturing but thankfully, the movie kept us entertained the whole night! :) I was dying to watch it cause of the main actor. You know who! Lam Fung! :D

Right, the next day, I didn't sleep in. Still woke up by the alarm. We (Lee Jing, Julia, Chei Wan, Chandni and I) went Putrajaya to get our Letter of Good Conduct. But before that, we met up at Subang Jaya to get the signatures for the oath thingy. We waited for 1.5 hours for the guy to come back and this was why our plan in the afternoon got interrupted. With the GPS, three cars drove to Putrajaya from Subang. The female officer at the entrance was being very strict with us. =.= No short skirts, no slippers, no shorts. There wasn't any delay in collecting the certificate. It was just a printed sheet of paper and it costs RM 20. Plus the signatures for the oath, RM 8. Can rob the book isn't it? :P Anyway, we need this as a prove that we behave well and do not commit any crimes/court offenses when we are looking for placement jobs in the UK next time. As i'm typing this, i'm reminded of my results. Oh dear, please tell me it's a positive result! :S

As usual, our post exam activity is.. to sing K. Chew Ping couldn't make it again. :( Oh well. And i couldn't sing high notes that day. Something wrong with my voice box. :( Anyway, the day ended by sending LJ back to IMU and i got home feeling damn lethargic! Lack of sleep due to exams.

But the next day, i went out again! And karaoke again! With the long time no see, Lim Ser Lyn!! :) Though we stay like less than 1km away, we hardly get to see each other? As usual, i picked her up from her house and we tried somewhere different this time. Subang Neway. We got a room where the screen was just right in front of our eyes. =.= Neck damn tiring can? Crazy. Should have designed the room properly for the sake of customers right! I'm never a fans of Neway cause their charges are way higher than Red Box. Small bowl of tidbits, RM 11? Reasonable? Although sometimes Neway is nice enough to extend your singing hours, still i don't like that place.

Okay. I don't know how to end this post. Lol. Oh, i was supposed to meet up with a few other collegemates but it was cancelled last minute. Probably next week! Wesleyans Part 3 - 5

I'm keeping track of the number of times i hang out with my fellow Wesleyan friends as i always got nagged that i go out too often with them. :D Only five times okay since the end of June. Not too bad. :) I love them all!

Part 3

Eilene, wh, cs and i (the Taylorians Wesleyans) had lunch nearby Taylor's. The main motive was to introduce Snowflakes to the bear bear hoong. :D We first had our lunch at Uncle Seng. Been a while since i last indulged in Subang food (except for Face to Face). Anyway only on that day itself i found out that the big tapioca pearls that we always take in bubble tea and in the Snowflakes desserts are actually FATTENING. Omg and i love them so much! ~~No wonder i gained weight the past 3 years.~~ Lol. Okay this is too exaggerating. :D I forgot which day it was but i was very determined not to follow them to movie after that. Good discipline i have. :) (if you still remember how fickle minded i was in the last few posts that i went to the cinema with them after some sort of "brainwashing". lol)

Part 4 (failed)

I once mentioned that i HATE finding parking at Mid Valley. Many times in fact cause sometimes i forgot that the probability for getting a parking spot in the AFTERNOON especially is close to 0. It was a Friday if i'm not mistaken. Which means the traffic was worse! Friday's prayers somemore. =.= I spent about 1.5 hours just making turnings around MV. I couldn't even enter any zones as cones were everywhere. I got fed up and just diverted to the Petaling Jaya route and drove home. I was the first few who reached, yet i just couldn't get my car parked! Everyone else was already singing in the Karaoke room. Very pathetic!

Part 4 (20th July)

Now it did happen! :) It was the last day of my semester 4, the day i had my DD1 class test. I asked them to go Green Box at Sg. Wang cause i didn't want the MV incident to happen again. Wh was nice enough to pick me from uni, so i didn't have to take the LRT. :) It was raining like cats and dogs after that. Thank goodness i need not walk under the rain! :D

Hoong Leong, Cai Yi (Leong Wai's friend), Wee Lik, Han Bin, Chin Yuen, Wei Hoong, Kai Xin, Suet Yee, Celeste and Leong Wai.

Got this group photo from Celeste. :D I brought my Canon G9 that day but i found it useless cause i'm so used to my DSLR. :S I didn't bring it out that day cause i was having exam. Bags were to be left outside exam hall. So yea, i didn't wanna take the risk. :)

Part 5 (31st July)

BBQ party at wh's house! :) Nice food, nice companies for the night. We met up with our long lost friend, Huey Jeen (the one in the middle hugging the Mr. No Photos Please. lol) who left in Form 2. Frankly, i couldn't recognize him AT ALL. Two of them brought their brothers along. You can guess for yourself whoever doesn't look 20. :D Anyway, that day was my first time driving all the way to Cheras with an empty petrol tank PLUS a heavy traffic jam. It was also my first time ever driving back home at 11+pm. :D

There are more outings to come, am i right? I can't wait for the trip! :D

I've been tagged by Xiao Li and Alex Leong. Been a while since i last do tags. Since i'm free.. so here we go!

1) All my books must NOT be bent.

I don't know why but i'm very particular in this. Lol. I can't stand books that are torn, crumpled, folded, bent etc etc. Books/papers which i borrow to others must be returned in the original form! :)

2) I'm afraid of DOGS.

Yes. Laugh all you want. Lol. I'll scream at the top of my lungs and maybe run even faster than the cheetah if any dogs were to appear in front of me right now. I lived with a dog during my childhood and yet i still don't like them.

3) I have a small mouth.

I take forever to finish up my burgers and huge sandwiches eg. Subway. :D I eat layers by layers sometimes. How sad can that be? Lol.

4) I don't like onions/garlics.

But i take onions in the ABC soup cause the onion doesn't taste strong in that way. And the only garlic-related food i eat is garlic bread. Okay i'm weird. :D

5) I'm a HALF banana.

I'm English educated but i watch Chinese shows and listen to Chinese songs more often than English ones. I can read, type, speak, understand but can't write. I stopped tuition when the teacher asked me to write Chinese essays. I remember i took one whole tuition class to write just an essay. Disgrace. :(

6) If i were given a chance to pick up a hobby once again, i'd choose dancing.

I always think that girls who can dance are very confident! My mom said she used to send me to ballet classes but i refused to go everytime. =.= How come i don't remember that? Anyway, i don't regret learning piano. Else, i won't be sensitive to musics now! :)

7) LIGHT BLUE is my favourite colour.

Okay. This is way too obvious. My pencils, pens, pencil box, handphone pouch, file, watch, hair clips etc etc are all blue. BUT my mom always always claims that green is my lucky colour. I ain't compatible with blue. :(

Oh, if there's a number eight for me to fill. I'd say, i hate being short! If i were a few inches taller, i can play netball better, people can see me better, i can see people better and i think i'll look thinner. Lol!!

I'm done with EOS 4 exam and i'm hoping for the best. Enough said!

Planned to go out right after exam but i guess sometimes things do not work out.
Plus i'm super tired now. Tired of worrying! I need sleep.

Tomorrow's a long day. Gonna get some important stuff done in the morning.
And sing K after that! Friday too! I need to release my feelings!

I still search for this video occasionally whenever i visit Youtube. Love her voice very much! I think this version is better than the one in her recent album. Her live performance is so good! If i ever get a chance to attend her concert in the future, i'll definitely get my feet there! :)

I like female singers with wide vocal range, bright, powerful, ringing voices! Just like my one and only Hebe babe. :) She's releasing her own solo album next month! Much anticipation here! A-Lin is another example.! And also 黃美珍 and 魏如昀 from Taiwanese One Million Star Season 2. I followed till the 3rd season and i like 1st and 2nd seasons the best. It's the 6th now? Not sure.. not so into this anymore.

I have better things to update but i thought typing this would be faster cause i'm now competing with time. :( Monday is just the day after tomorrow which means EOS exam is in less than 48 hours. Okay i hope i'm not careless and i stay calm and steady throughout the papers!

Acupuncture and massage. Honestly. I fear.
Complementary medicine! Hahah.

I'm applying my Health Promotion knowledge.
Me and my back have issues. My pelvic bone got a little dislocated.
According to the physician, i could have accidentally sprained it.
But i didn't fall or anything.?
Plus.. Due to stress and late sleeping hours, my back is always aching.
I can feel it when he massaged from my neck till the hip.
Hmm.. stress is unavoidable! It comes and goes often.
So now. I'm trying to sleep before 12am.
The younger me used to sleep around 10ish. :)
How did i do that last time?!

I'm wishing for time to pass faster.
Yet, i need more days to revise.
My mind is crazy!
Anyway, the test last Tues was good. :)
It was exactly the same as the past year i revised!
Hope IMU treats us better for the coming EOS.
Dinnerrr time. Taaa. Days left: 15!
Can't wait to enjoy!!! But exams come first. Boo.

Tomorrow is the last lecture day ever in Sem 4!
I hope that the test on Tues will not be tricky.
Just gimme a piece of mind to think logically and interpret the passage correctly!
Will be having 2.5 weeks of study break after that.
I feel like going for another round of K session before i go totally MIA.
I'll be done with PP1, DD1 and HP very soon!!

I think my beloved friends are on their way back from Redang.
Yes, i missed the trip due to my ~~wonderful~~ time table. :(

Sigh. Shall continue and do my part.
Study hard and pass all my 3 papers!

Weei Foong turned 20!

Weei Foong turned 20 on Wednesday. We girls celebrated with her at Bubba Gump, Pyramid. Karyan who is back from the UK joined us for the celebration too. She came for the morning lecture, waited for us while we get our SPIDER quiz done. Long time no see buddy! :) Bubba Gump, my second time. Shrimp! I like! :) I blogged about this restaurant before. I'm impressed with their food, their interior design, their services but the food is a little pricey yes cause it's shrimp. :D

Just like TGI Friday's, Bubba Gump does the same to all birthday babies who celebrated at their place. They make the VIP stand on the chair, ask him/her to make a birthday speech, sing him/her a birthday song, ask him/her to do stunts before blowing the cake. :D Poor WF. But we were truly entertained. :P

Lee Jing and I went karaoke on Monday. Lol. We planned this outing since week 1 of the semester but we could never make it as three! This time either. I guess we will have to plan another day after our EOS. Can you believe it? 11 weeks have passed!! 3 more weeks, 10 more days in the lecture hall and i'll be done with the whole sem. AGAIN. As i'm typing this, i remembered once Sonia said i'm in semester 24 for my course cause it seems like my sem always end way too quickly till she can't catch up with me. Lol.

I promised myself not to go out anymore starting from July but i broke my vow. Gosh. I was just planning to have a quick lunch with Wei Hoong on Friday after class so that i could go home and have my revision done but then! YY and CS were there too. After lunch, they suggested going for a movie. Friends’ influence. Hahaha i tagged along after moments of consideration. Went Pyramid to watch ‘Frozen’. Some scenes were gruesome. I suggest you to catch another movie instead. Not to say that it’s very bad but *spoiler ahead* The whole movie was basically shooting on the same spot. Had this damn guilty feeling when I reached home. Not too bad after all. I edited my Health Promotion essay and did some final proof reading. I’m ready to print it out now. :) Yay!

Just last month I wanted them to come back quickly but I don’t have the time to hang out with them at all. I’ve turned down a few invitations. I’m sorry. August alright! Promise! And I guess I won’t be updating much unless i feel like to. So tata for now. 16 days to DD1 class test. 36 days to EOS! Good luck!

Love him la!!!!! He performed at Golden Melody Award last Sat! I watched LIVE. Was fighting for the TV vs. World Cup. Lol sorry i'm really that selfish. :P He was nominated as the best male artiste together with Jam Hsiao, Eason Chen, David Tao and Khalil Fong. I was as nervous as him when the award presenter was announcing the results ok. Hahaha kidding. I was hugging the pillow though. He lost the title to David Tao. :( Unexpected winner. Totally unrelated topic. Last movie of Harry Potter, looking forward!! Part 1 coming Nov. Part 2 July 2011. :) I'm ashamed to say this but i still have NOT read the book since 2007. Failure. To the one who borrowed me the book, I will do it right after my exams ok and return you in 2 weeks! :D

Band Concert & Father's Day!

Last Friday, i was back in Seremban to witness my cousins' concert. :)

They put hell a lot of effort in the band according to my aunt.

It was once in two years band concert and apparently this is the major curriculum in their school.

Glad that their hard work paid off. It was good!

Attending school event reminds me of WMS. One period we practised for Sports Day. Next few months for Concert not forgetting nerdy moments preparing for exams followed by post-exam activities - my favourite! All the curriculum activities, staying back, waking up before dawn and coming back after dusk, Saturdays sacrificing occasionally. I MISS. Do you?! I enjoyed every single moment despite the stress. :D

Then, on Saturday we celebrated Father's Day with the KK group! At Klang.


This is the restaurant's name. The food was so-so only. I hardly criticize food, so i really mean it.

We had about 3 tables of people. Yes, that many. We were all divided into tables named Papa, Father and Daddy for game purpose. Each table was given 2 sheets of World Cup questions to fill in. My table won! :D Not my contribution of course. :P

After dinner, Bryan had a guitar performance followed by a song by all of us - 'Hey soul sister'. :) Then, we played another game called "How well do you know your father?". I love this game! Firstly, all dads wrote down their answers to all questions and passed it back front without showing the children. Then, the children were asked to sit with their siblings for the Q & A session. Each family took turns to answer the questions asked by Auntie Kim - the emcee of the night. I'm proud to say that we know my daddy well! Except for the question - What's your dad's dream car? I never hear him mention before to be honest. Lol. And the other one - What's your father's favourite word?. My dad misinterpreted the question so we got penalty. But we still emerged top 3 for the game. :)

Durian cake for all the daddies, one missing here. Yumss.

My happy family! Yes i have a brother to those who don't know. :D Some of my uni friends said that i look like the only child.

Whee. I'm damn busy now. I'm sorry if i turn down your invitation cause i need to juggle between friends, uni, assignment, test, family and soon my final exam. Promise i'll pay back my 'debts' next time. :)

Rice Dumpling Festival

Last Sun, my family gathered and celebrated Rice Dumpling Festival (in advance. actual day was yesterday). Well, while the adults were busy preparing dinner, i brought my teenager cousins and my bro out to IOI Mall. :D Our main objective was to get Buku Ilmiah for my bro's History project. Hmm, schools and assignments nowadays. I don't remember having so much troubles looking for info last time. Didn't manage to search for it in the end. Oh well. One of my cousins wanted to sing K but majority won. I actually voted a 'no'. Lol yea cause i don't wanna burn a hole in my pocket singing on a Sunday afternoon. Then, we decided to check out the movie time for Karate Kid and Prince of Persia. But 'last minute theory' doesn't always work you see. All tickets were sold out.

It was clearly written "No outside food and drinks allowed" but i acted blind. :D

I had a sudden craving for popcorn! Who says popcorn must go with movie? :P I bought one set while the rest decided to have some light snacks at Little Taiwan.

I've been reading Drug and Disease 1 lectures these few days. I'm very hardworking can? :) No more dramas, no more Youtube. But sorry i can't live without Facebook. :P 6 days of holiday for the MQs! Yay! Nerd mode is switched on. Peer pressure! I'm working on assignment and revising lecture notes at the same time cause some seniors' experiences actually frightened me. I must be wide aware with what's happening during class alright. :)

Had only an hour lecture yesterday. So.. finally. An outing. Lol.

Picked YY from her house and had lunch together at Rabbit Cafe.

Tell me this is nice! I love this! :D

Mission accomplished! She changed her facebook profile pic.

Anyway, we decided to share our meal cause we wanted to save the other portion of our stomach for Snowflake! :D Appetizer (mushroom soup + garlic bread) + cabonara + ice lemon tea + dessert (ice cream) for RM 14.90++. Uni friends, maybe can consider this restaurant for simple lunch.

We then each drove a car to SS15 for the Taiwanese dessert! Chances of finding a parking there is near to zero.What's more it was lunch hour! Cause Snowflake opens at 1pm. Nobody eats dessert in the morning, yes? Lol. We then parked our cars at the market (Taylorians should know), 50 cents per hour. This is considered cheap for private place. Or is it not a private place? No idea. Just know that Asia Cafe charges RM 2 for 1 hour. :/ Poor Ming Xiang couldn't get a parking spot, he drove straight to Sunway Pyramid and waited for us. Giving myself a break today. Cause i have a day off tomorrow! Will be working on my HP essay (40% for finals). Quite decided to do on Ginseng. And i have a dispensing test next Mon which carries 15% for finals. Hope everything goes on smoothly. Remember no liquid paper, definitely NO mistakes in calculation! Will be starting Drugs & Disease 1 module next week. Hmm.. this semester sounds a bit free. Yes indeed, from the lecture distributions in the timetable. But when it comes to revising, *yawns*! Need tonnes of understanding and extra efforts cause exam is essay structured. All i can say is.. Work harder kaixin? Lol. Have a good weekend everyone!

Hall of Fame Awards Day

Wednesday was P109's Hall of Fame Awards Day.

There were about 30 categories and i was a nominee in 'The Social Butterfly'.

Lol i'll be doubtful if i won the award. I'm not that sociable. I'm just friendly to everyone i meet. Congrats Sophia! :)

Of course, how could we resist the camera? Camwhored much. With the grand piano too. Sometimes, DSLR can be a pain in the ass under dim light if your hand is shaky. But this was good!

This was what i meant in the last post. Us in RED. :) And from the pic, it proves something too. Sushi Zanmai is not a very ideal place for portrait photos. Our eyes and noses look distorted under the 'heat-emitting lights'. P/S: You'll eventually sweat if you sit under that kinda light for a few hours.

Okay. Just a short post. Lunch time~ I'm very looking forward to next week's outing cause i'll be going Karaoke like finally! Please don't tell me it's cancelled last minute. I'll seriously go *&^%$#@! :P And my duty is to take nice portraits for the two young ladies up there for a change of their facebook profile pics. :P

Been bonding with the camera lately. I think i'll upload some of my masterpieces soon. I'm loving black and white pics. :) :)

Sunrise is even more obvious from my house. I like the combination of dark blue, greyish, yellowish orange colour of the sky. Used to admire it when i was waiting for transport to college last time. But i have trouble waking up early (as in before 8am) since uni started. Nowadays, even when the part time maid comes at 7.30am, i'm making so much silent noises and cursing to the air. Lol. Imma PIG. :D

I received a summon yesterday. First time. Lol. Okay. No big deal. Cause apparently i heard it's not necessary to pay DBKL fines? Nvm, i've no idea about all these things. So far, dad said he's not paying..first. Haha. Oh for those who don't know, my uni car park is closed for one week for further upgrade. My dad says it's unsafe to park at the LRT station and the security guard disallowed me to enter the basement carpark yesterday so hence the road side. :D

Apa ini? This is my one-day colour contact lens. See the left one dried up so fast. It was only left there for 5 mins from the time i took this pic. Received 3 pairs of Ciba Vision Dailies Freshlook Illuminate colour contact lens for free. Signed up online few weeks ago. Sometimes my mom assumes free stuffs are scams. Well, this is publicized on Nuffnang too. Can't be it right. ;) What's more, i've got them by post mail and is safe to wear. I wore a pair yesterday. It does make our iris slightly larger. :) Only Jing noticed it. Kudos. She claims that she's observant. Lol. [P/S: I applied again using my bro's name and to my uncle's house. Hope they still have stock. Greedy much? :D]

Anyway, i have 4 days of long weekend again. Today's gone by so quickly. Spent the afternoon catching up with Yeun Yi and Theng. Coincidentally, we three wore RED. We somehow have telepathy? Lol. Lazy to upload pics on blogger already. And i'm damn tired now. Been figuring out how to take night shots for sceneries. I need a professional. Oh, and Happy Wesak Day! My table calendar states last Friday and i was wondering why my uni calendar says Public Holiday tomorrow. =.= Fine. I'm such a 'devoted' Buddhist. :(

We took 3 days to finally choose a satsifying one for the magazine.

Day 1

Black and white combination. Lighting problem. Retook the next day.

Random colour combination. The picture wasn't sharp enough and think it's a bit formal.

Decided to change venue --> Vista B swimming pool. :)

Chiropractic

Hi. I just woke up not long ago. Brunch today?

It was quite 'eventful' for me yesterday. I actually planned a K session with my friends. Ughh. Had to call it off cause i was dragged along to attend a talk at Holiday Villa with my mom. As a 'filial' daughter, i 'unwillingly' agreed to go. It was a "Sleep Well Sleep Healthy Outreach Program" organized by King Koil and International Chiropractors Association. My mom was invited cause of our furniture shop's collaboration with King Koil. Unexpectedly met a whole bunch of IMU Chiropractic students there. IMU should be proud that our uni is mentioned in the slide as the first and only complete Chiropractic educational programme in Malaysia. The talk was given by two chiropractors from The States, Dr Carolee and Dr Ron, the husband and wife. It was an enlightening presentation though 50% of the time i was building castles in the air. Already enough lectures and workshops for this week, i just can't stand paying attention to slides anymore. But well, i did learn something besides them trying to promote King Koil's mattresses. All in all, healthy life requires healthy sleep. There were cocktail and refreshment before and after the talk. My mom said attending this kinda function is definitely more beneficial than me going to a karaoke room. =.= Alright.

A random thing. I love to drive. Lol. Always my mom's driver nowadays. Maybe next time if i can't graduate, you can hire me as your chauffeur or i'll get a job in a kindergarten. I just love kids very much! Touch wood touch wood! I must get the Pharmacy degree!!

Here are some tips in overcoming sleep problems:
1) Develop a sleep schedule that works best for you and stick to it.
2) Exercise is great but not too late in the day.
3) Avoid caffeine and nicotine.
4) Avoid large meals and beverages late at night.
5) Avoid alcoholic drinks before bed.
6) Avoid medicines that delay or disrupt your sleep, if possible.
7) Don't take naps after 3pm.
8) Relax before bed.
9) Take a hot bath before bed.
10) Have a good sleeping environment.
11) Have the right sunlight exposure.
12) Don't lie in bed awake.
13) Lastly, consult a chiropractor if your sleeping trouble continues. Lol.

Then, at night, a few families of KK Hills were invited for a wedding anniversary dinner at Fresh Unique Seafood Restaurant at Petaling Jaya. My neighbour's 20th wedding anniversary. The food wasn't bad. :) Seafood i love best but i'm trying to cut down on protein and heavy meals for dinner. I'm always bored to death hanging out with this bunch of neighbours cause they're either all adults and all children. =.= This time round, my camera kept me accompanied.

Uncle Kelvin sent me an email on basics of learning photography two days ago. I was surprised to receive it cause i didn't ask for any help. Later i found out that it was my mom's deed. So thankful and helpful of them. Learning is in the process. :) Hope to capture some impressive photos next time. :P And photoshop is the next target! ;)

Singapore Star Awards 2010

This is the reason why i kept mentioning that i wanna go Singapore last month. Lol. I thought it'd be fabulous to witness the awards ceremony at Resorts World Sentosa. A lovely place i suppose! But yea right.. in my dream that i could be present in any of those big events. Malaysia has no live on TV. Boohoo.. but i've streamed Part 1 and Part 2 plus the Red Carpet. :D Awesome!

Anyway,

Elvin Ng, one of my favourite actors who has the winning smile won the 'Rocket Award (Most Breakthrough)' and Top 10 Most Popular Male Artiste this year. :) :) Yes, his acting did improve from the recent two dramas of his that i watched.

Dai Yangtian. Anyone remembers him? He appeared in 'The Little Nyonya' before as the japanese guy. He received 'Male Media Darling' and is one of the Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes too.

If you're a fan of Singaporean dramas, you'll love this! Both Elvin and Dai Yangtian acted as the major male roles in this drama. :) :) Fell in love with Dai Yangtian after watching it. He's gooood!

Jeanette Aw. She's so photogenic! 'Favourite Female TV Character' belongs to her, from the role she played in 'Together'. Undoubtedly, she's one of the Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes.

Rui En, the ever-so-cool Princess. Top 10 Popular Female Artiste as well.

Jesseca Liu. Another Top 10 Popular Female Artiste, which might be her last award in the showbiz for she's left Mediacorp. :(

Joanne Peh. 'Media Female Darling' and Top 10 Popular Female Artiste. :)

The princess on the left is also the Top 10. I still think she's damn hot! :D

Felicia sacrificed her look in 'The Ultimatum'. This is another drama that made me watched continuously for days. Thanks Kah Lian for the sources. :)

Oh well, i'm really a drama addict! Although i'm English educated, i don't fancy those western shows/documentaries/movies. I wonder why.

Singaporean dramas > Taiwanese idol dramas = HK TVB dramas.

This is my weightage. I prefer Singapore shows cause they are mostly educational and they reflect on our daily lifes. As you watch them, sometimes the situations get out of expectation which always keeps your adrenaline pumped. :) As for Taiwanese idol dramas, of course because of the idols. Lol. The story line can go a bit too far and is quite unlikely to happen in real life, that i have to say but so far, 'Next Stop, Happiness' is really on my top list! TVB dramas, this is where i learn Cantonese besides listening to my parents speak that language since day 1 i was born. They produce superb drama once a while, which is worth watching. :) I really really don't like those characters with magical powers. Wth? Like.. you can fly? Transform into another person? etc etc. Too imaginative and illogical.

I must give a pat on my shoulder. Know why? Lol. Cause i've stopped the bad habit of watching dramas on laptop after midnight. Which means i've reduced my time spent on unnecessary things to my beauty sleep and studies. :)

To catch up on lecture notes.
To read up and do research for PP1 ethical essay.
To start collecting information for HP essay.

I started my off day by travelling to Mid Valley to join the crowd at Jusco one day sale. 45 mins to reach there from my house. Crazy. It was early in the morning, so i was stuck in the traffic with the rest who were going to work/school. I bought 2 short pants. Lol instead of long one which i need for overseas next time. Oh well.

Then i left for IMU after an hour. Sorta planned a surprise for Chew Ping i.e to go up to her door and surprise her with her belated birthday presents. The Vista B security guards were being b*tch*es again. Wanted to get the visitor parking instead of parking at the hill top. But they saw my IMU car sticker and threatened me that he'd clamp my car if i were to walk out from Vista. SIGH. So, Lee Jing and i got in the car, drove to the hill top, walked down the 'IMU Batu Caves' and all the way to vista C up to CP's door. Just as we were about to call her out, she suddenly unlocked her gate and *ta-daa*. Imagine her facial expression. :D We were neither early/late. Just nice. :)

Okay. To cut things short, i'm lazy to recall and type word by word.

Our plan for the day - Sg. Wang visit - eating and shopping.

First stop, lunch @ a Hong Kong restaurant recommended by LJ. (又一村) I hardly visit Sg. Wang so i don't know what's nice to eat there. Haha.

The food aren't bad. :) Toast, my favourite!

After lunch, the shopping mode started. I went home empty-handed. Lol. CP was the happiest shopper that day. I realized 3 things after walking around.

I started to eye on Sponge Bob items, maybe the influence of 'Xiao Xiao Bin'. :D
I like those Ts saying 'Little Miss ...'. But i'm looking for 'Little Miss Pharmacist'.
I fancy those specs with ONLY the frame. You know those type people wear as fashion. :D

Third stop, dessert @ T-bowl Restaurant. (toilet bowl concept)

This restaurant is designed based on the bathroom concept where the toilet bowls are used as seats, basins as dining tables and mini toilet bowls as food bowls.

Bath tubs are dessert bowls.

Special isn't it? :) There are varieties of food served but we didn't wanna try the meals as i heard 2/2 friends said that they aren't fantastic. I shall be the judge next time. :D

Alright, so next visit there. Imma trying T-bowl food, get the white skirt, MIGHT consider buying the glass-less specs and walk to Pavilion to have Snowflakes. I was craving for it last night! Lol. I always have cravings at odd hours.

Called the day off after that. :)
